ODEEH Spring/Summer 2025

The grand finale of the second day of Berlin Fashion Week took place in the stunning colonnade of the Altes Museum, where the dynamic duo behind ODEEH, Otto Drögsler and Jörg Ehrlich, presented their latest collection. Once again, the Berlin Contemporary winners showcased highly eclectic designs this season, all unified by artisanal excellence—and I love the diversity and quality of this collection.

Athletic track pants paired with mini blazers, cutting-edge techno fabrics, and Japanese-inspired abstract floral prints were all part of the display. Classic striped shirts were given a fresh twist with small rhinestones, while the shimmering threads of two acid-green looks danced charmingly in the breeze. Especially captivating were the light pink designs with raw edges, adorned with sparkling brooches. The merging of patterns, colours, materials, and styles is a hallmark of ODEEH’s creative DNA.

ODEEH’s Spring/Summer 2025 Collection Shines at Berlin Fashion Week

What defines this season’s collection stylistically? It’s a blend of kitsch, romance, and toughness. All these elements come together in ODEEH, creating a very harmonious composition. The aim is to encapsulate purity and complexity, simplicity and intricacy. And this is precisely reflected in the collection I admire so much.

So, let’s talk about contrasts. Transparency and layering are key elements this season. ODEEH extensively experiments with these, combining technical fabrics with dynamic surfaces, and contrasting textures like crinkled versus shiny and matte. Multi-dimensional compositions and intricate fabric constructions are juxtaposed with simple basics like white cotton poplin or silk crepe de chine, which I find particularly intriguing.

And in an unconventional twist, this season’s collection has no title. ODEEH has chosen to forgo thematic constraints, allowing each collection to represent a new chapter. The juxtaposition of styles and the creation of wardrobes for women who express themselves in visible, often unconventional, and always freestyle manners is liberating. With three drops per season, totalling six annually, ODEEH intentionally avoids thematic rigidity.

But what inspired ODEEH this season? The everyday life of a modern, self-defined woman. Questions of visibility, beauty, curiosity, and undiscovered creative fields fuel the inspiration behind the collection.

Lastly, the runway show occurred in the impressive columned hall of the Altes Museum, a Schinkel building. The historic venue, with its extreme proportions, high ceilings, and magnificent, marbled backdrop, influenced ODEEH to embrace modernity in every aspect. The collection felt right at home in such a storied and inspiring space.

This ODEEH Spring/Summer 2025 collection radiates a diverse and exquisite quality that I truly love, making it a standout at Berlin Fashion Week.
