The festival is a time capsule keeper of Berlin’s fading queer spaces, archiving and showcasing the city’s historical queer fabric.
Spinning its magic biennially, the festival is on a quest—to reclaim and re-territorialize Berlin’s storied queer locales. Last year, the inaugural feast spotlighted luminaries like Shu Lea Cheang, Liz Rosenfeld, Lux Venérea aka BundAskanzlerin, and Mandhla. More dazzling artists await in the full-blown 2025 edition.
But this year, thanks to the Urban Praxis Foundation, POLIGONAL fine-tunes CONSTELLATIONS for a bespoke Bus Tour. This four-hour labyrinth on wheels will uncloak Berlin’s veiled queer histories, guiding you through tales of aspirational denizens and eclectic pioneers.
Expect co-produced audio snapshots to be archived digitally on the CONSTELLATIONS website, revealing these spaces’ epiphanies for future explorers.
